4SiteMedia's development work on a custom intranet solution for The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association (SDCERA) wins a Silver Quill award for Interactive Media Design: Excellence.

4SiteMedia delivered a custom .NET intranet solution with a sophisticated, personalized home page that ensures employees see their organization's most relevant information and data in a centralized place. This highly flexible solution that pushed the envelope of .NET and AJAX programming stood out as a cutting edge example of how an organization can use an intranet to improve how their employees work and communicate. 4SiteMedia was a subcontractor of their design partner Parallax Visual Comm in this effort and takes great pride in delivering an ambitious intranet that won a 2008 International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Silver Quill Award.

4SiteMedia's custom intranet solution for The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association (SDCERA) wins a best-practice award with i-COMM.

The Benefits i-COMM Awards recognize best practices in internal communication. The awards honor excellence in communication by selecting initiatives that advance the strategic objectives of the organization. Submissions were based on active web sites, e-mails, intranets, print and other communication vehicles. We explained our two main goals for the intranet solution were to (1) create a tool that would centralize institutional knowledge about various subjects that impact the administration of SDCERA benefits, and (2) establish an electronic database of policies and procedures that all staff could easily access on a regular basis. We explained that both goals tied directly to the intranet's mission of efficiently administering benefits and providing superior service to members.
