Custom Application Development

We provide custom application development in the following programming languages. We are glad to choose the programming language that is supported by your organization.

Our team primarily develops .NET applications in C# using the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5. Our entire team is certified in .NET application development. We often recommend .NET solutions for internal facing applications for customers that currently hold Microsoft licenses.

We complete the majority of our work in PHP. PHP is a wonderful open source programming language that can handle the majority of web application requirements. Also, some of favorite CMS platforms are based in PHP making this a great fit for most of our projects.

JQuery is a JavaScript library that makes interactive applications much easier to code and maintain when using advanced JavaScript. The term Web 2.0 is often overused, but the interactivity that users now expect from a modern, 'Web 2.0' experience is heavily based on AJAX (the J stands for JavaScript) technologies including the JQuery, Prototype, and Scriptaculous libraries.

Content Management Systems

Content Management Systems (CMS) give business owners the ability to maintain their own website content. This has steadily become a must have over the past decade as content continues to change at an increasingly rapid pace, and the solutions have continued to mature throughout the years. We've built quite a few from scratch, have been involved in large scale deployments and these systems are now included in every web project we deliver. It's a wonderful time to be a devloper, as many fully featured CMS platforms are open source and free to use.

Drupal is fast becoming our CMS of choice. It's fully featured functionality, flexible workflows, and a vast array of free modules enable this free, open source system to compete with some extremely expensive off the shelf solutions.

Joomla is a great, PHP based CMS system. We've completed quite a few Joomla projects, have customized Joomla extensions, and really have seen the limits of what this CMS can currently do well. If you have a website that doesn't require a complicated approval process for website updates and you don't need advanced user segmentation you may find the efficiencies and usability of Joomla a great fit.

Sharepoint is often used as a corporate intranet. We have specialization using and customizing Sharepoint and it has great cohesion if your organization uses a majority of Microsoft products.

A robust off the shelf project that is suitable to large organizations with sophisticated CMS requirements. Our team has experience using this technology from past corporate deployments and we're glad to work with this product if you are currently using it in your IT infrastructure.

Web 2.0 & System Integration

Our team has experience building complex systems that involve web service creation and integration using XML and Service Oriented Architectures. This is where the Internet is continually headed and where we can offer some great solutions to our clients. If you've heard the term 'cloud computing', you may have heard that most of our traditional desktop applications are moving off our PCs and on to the Internet. Integrating these systems becomes more of a priority than building or hosting these applications internally. We currently offer integration services with SalesForce.com with more from Google, Amazon, Microsoft and others on the way. We also have experience using the Tibco Business Processing Engine for enterprise level SOAs.
